WINSTONgolf Senior Open

The European Senior Tour returned to Germany, for the fifth time for this year’s WINSTONgolf Senior Open. This year WINSTONgolf presented a new challenge by hosting the Senior Open on the Links course instead of the Open course they have used for the past four years. Scotland’s Andrew Oldcorn was able to pull out a win in a play-off against England’s Paul Broadhurst. Click here to read more about the Senior Open and Oldcorn’s victory.

Due to the popularity of the unique Links Golf Course, many clients are interested in creating a unique signature course similar to the WINSTONlinks course. Created by Fusion Golf, it’s styled on British golf courses by the sea. The typical characteristics of these rough, windswept areas are therefore duplicated here: natural sandy hollows, small brooks and here and there very high dunes planted with broom and heather. Fast, often undulating fairways, sand and pot bunkers and hard, fast greens call for a precise game.
